COORS BREWERS PHOENIX 15 COMPETITION

Welcome to the site of the North Staffordshire & District Cricket League. Established in 1889 we are the second-oldest cricket league in the country.After the loss of our clubs to an expanding rival local league it was decided to keep this historic league in operation by changing to a mid-week twenty/20 type competition. Thus the Phoenix 15 was born.

THE NEXT LEAGUE MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE ON WEDNESDAY 15TH OCTOBER 2008 AT NEWCASTLE & HARTSHILL CC AT 7.30PM.

FINALS DAY SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST 2008
Finals Day will take place on Sunday 24th August at Rode Park. The timings for matches are:-
Semi-final 1:- Rode Park & Lawton v Hem Heath 11.00am
Semi-final 2:- Stone SP v Nantwich 1.15pm
Final:- 4.00pm
Presentations for performances during the season will take place at 3.30pm and presentations of trophies related to the final will take place at 6.00pm.
Admission is £2 with no concessions. Proceeds from the raffle and gate takings will be donated to this year's chosen charity which is The Peter Pan Nursery for Children with Special Needs. Please come along and help support this worthy charity and also enjoy some great short-game cricket.
